Chapter 49. Subordinates
He is not used to the title being addressed in his name since he did not practice his medicine as his family does, but ever since he took charge of Desmond's duties, he had been addressed as a "Doctor" around the hospital.
With Susanne, Denny was able to correct her, but he could not do the same to others who would politely greet him as he made his duty rounds. He is wearing a doctor's lab gown, and he is a certified physician. There is nothing wrong with the title he is being called to be addressed, so he decided not to mind them.
"Never mind me, just do your thing. I am here to see the performance of the machines, not the manpower. Unless necessary, I won't report any misbehavior," Denny reminded everyone when he noticed the doctors and nurses on duty around him during his surveys would feel stiff and uncomfortable.
