Faye’s POV

“Faye.” Caius let out a breath and said my name as if it would save him.

“Alpha.” I gave him a nod and tried to act like I was just another member of his group.

Caius’s face lit up, and he put his arms around me. Chris ran up and tackled us both to the ground by wrapping his arms around us. We joked around and laughed, and I thanked the gods that I was finally with my family again.

Kalix and Owen both smiled at Elise as they walked up to her. “Should we talk about you and those silvery eyes?” Kalix asked.

“Oh, no, you saw it!”

“Seriously! Why would you not tell us about this?” Owen didn’t like that she had another secret.

“I didn’t want you to get caught up in my crazy life. I can call my wolf, but I can’t shift. I think my dad put a spell on me or something that ties me down.”

“Elise, you are our life, our Queen. “If you keep lying to us, we can’t help you.” Owen’s voice was filled with sadness, and I growled at his words.
