Faye saw me cut open a man’s chest, which made him and the other people nearby kneel down in front of me. She knew that I was about to kill them. I was getting more and more angry, especially around Elise. I never let my people disobey me, but I also never gave them a reason to doubt me.

Faye ran out the door and stopped right next to me. “Alpha, please calm down.
