Alexia’s POV

I took over Maya’s body, and right away, I was called to the Princess’ room. When I got there, she was crying on the lap of her handmaiden and yelling at both her father, Finn, and my son. I didn’t know what happened, but I thought it had something to do with the lake.

“El, don’t care about those haughty Alphas. You are way stronger than everyone else. You’ll see how powerful you are as Queen one day.”

Sia’s voice was so full of truth when she spoke that it was a little scary. How could this girl think that a child without wolves could be Queen?

“Sia, I’m useless. I hate everything. I don’t like any of them. My father treats me like a slave, and my mother acts like I don’t exist. Finn is so hot and cold that I’m not sure if he’s on my side for me or for my title. And then there’s that jerk Caius. He killed those Rogues to show me that he was stronger than me, and he was right. In the same way, every other wolf in this world is stronger than I am
