Chapter 40. Unforeseen Consequences

Kalix walked on the opposite side of the hallway from me as we cleared the rumble from the south wing. We have already cleared two other paths so that the staff can get more supplies.

As we got closer to the piles of cement blocks, we started taking the biggest ones outside. We couldn’t stop trying to top each other, and it was getting silly, but I didn’t look like a weak Beta.
