Chapter 52. Disrespect
Chris’s POV
As I walked into the Blood Moon’s pack house, I finally calmed down. I had to act nice, but it was hard for me to do that because I felt so many different things. I opened the door to my study without knocking and my jaw dropped.
The Alpha was between two gorgeous women with his head resting on one’s lap as she stroked his hair, and the other leaned on him with her hand on his shoulder.
“What the fuck is wrong with Chris?” Kalix yelled at me for coming in so rudely. I didn’t need his approval to enter a room, though.
“I didn’t know that you liked older women, but that’s cool. I sat next to one of the women and whispered loudly, “I’d be careful; he obviously has mommy issues.”
“Fucker, these are my moms. What do you want?” The anger in Kalix’s eyes turned them black. He didn’t like me, and he didn’t like it when other people talked badly about his family. Something that I could use to bother him.
