Owen’s POV
When I woke up, Faye was sleeping in my arms, and I felt happy right away. I felt like a little kid who just scored the winning touchdown in the championship game, and I didn’t mind one bit. I couldn’t believe that I owned something so perfect. I ran my fingers softly over her body, which was bare.
Faye woke up, and I could feel her smile on my chest as her lips moved into a smile.
“Good morning, my sweetheart.”
“What’s up, mate?”
When I heard the word “mate,” I felt a small rumble in my chest.
