Chapter 67. Truth or Lies

Elise’s POV

I went to the field by myself to practice my magic. I felt like I was going to burst from the stress and excitement.

I put up all the magic shields so I wouldn't be seen, and then I put out my hand to call fire. I couldn't get fire to start unless I thought of Caius, but I was determined to find another way to do it.

After an hour of no luck, I cursed the goddess who made me this way. I had magic but couldn't use it, I was a powerful wolf but couldn't change, and I was to be Queen but would never really rule. Now, I was turning my anger towards my goddess. I didn't expect any of this.
