I jumped out of the window and landed next to Chris on my feet. He was already sitting up, so he just put his shoulder back where it belonged. "That fucking runt demon! Even if he is your brother, I will fucking gut his ass."

I looked all over his body quickly for wounds and was glad to find none. "Thanks to the goddess."
