Elise’s POV
I was 20 minutes late for training with Caius when I rushed into the gardens. I was dying inside because I couldn't tell him yet about his sister. He needed to know that she was okay, and I was able to tell him that. Owen, on the other hand, made me promise not to tell him.
I knew Faye would wake up before the end of the night, so I told them they had until nightfall to tell him, or I would do it myself. We had just agreed to stop lying and keeping secrets from each other. Owen was in a relationship with Faye, and Caius was her brother. I had to give them time to figure out what they needed before I could help.
