Chapter 96. I Need You
Owen’s POV
Outside the pack house, I ran my wolf in circles, not daring to move an inch away from my mate’s scent. Even when I was mad, I couldn’t get too far away from her. After Kalix told me through mind-linking that she needed my attention, I couldn’t stop thinking about ravaging her body.
I had to protect Elise, but I couldn’t do anything right now. Still, my partner was right here, and she needed me as well.
She had just come back from the edge of death, and I was mad about something I couldn’t change. I let out one last scream of pain and anger, and then I went back to my room.
I couldn’t get rid of the anger that burned in my veins, but I would never hurt Faye because of it. I could smell her before I even got to the top of the stairs to my room. Kalix was right; she was a small warrior who needed help, and she was all mine.
