Theo’s POV

I continued to flip through the photos, each one unraveling a more painful narrative. There she was again, at the bar, embracing her drunk friend. Damn them both.

The next photo depicted them in a passionate kiss at the bar counter. But it was the subsequent images that stoked my fury.

They were entangled on a bed, one on top of the other. These photos revealed her engaged in intimate acts with other men. How could she do this? This wasn’t the Serene I knew; this wasn’t the woman I fell in love with.

I clenched my fists in rage. Damn her, damn her to hell. I never thought she would be such a whore. Thoughts of retribution consumed me, and I even contemplated ending their lives.

In a fit of anger, I hurled the photos and anything within reach across the room. I never thought that she would betray me like this. Serene, I believed you loved me.
