Kyle’s POV

I woke up with a headache. I looked around and realized it wasn’t my room. I approached the window, and it looked like I woke up at noon.

How did I get here? Whose house is this? Wait, where is Serene? I stood up even though I was still dizzy. That’s a lot of wine; the strength is right.

When I got out, I went straight down the stairs to find out where I was. I also needed to find serenity.

I realized that this was Séance’s house; maybe I slept in her guest room. I looked around and saw her talking to a man on the sofa.

I approached them, and the person he was talking to immediately noticed my presence. I even heard that he called her Serene as a princess. Who is this man?

“He’s my friend, Uncle. He is Kyle Ardin. Ardin, my Uncle Brandon” Serene introduced the person she was talking to.

Brandon? Where did I hear that name? I was surprised to remember the name Liam had told me. It’s a good thing he didn’t notice my reaction.
