Grace gasped at sudden contact, her first instinct was to cradle her wrist to her chest and push him away. Immediate touches evoked past traumas, something she wasn’t very good at dealing. But as her eyes Meg his warm ones, she almost forget the reason of her worries. How-How could someone converse through their gaze?
“Relax, he won’t eat you,” Orion mumbled, comforting her with the rub on back of her wrist with his thumb. Grace felt her skin tingling where he touched and nodded. Giving her a playful smile, he continued. “Unless you beg him to,”
And there went their progress. With narrowed eyes, she jerked her wrist off his palm. Positioning her hands on her hips, she tip toed and glared at him.
“Don’t joke with me like this,” Orion thought she looked adorable only with her confused face. God. How can someone look so innocent and naive yet fierce and breathtaking with red nose and angry eyes? Would it be okay of him to touch her cheek, would she mind?
