Chapter 159. You’re Ruining My Plans
On the site, they had described Lolita as enchanting, deadly and mesmerizing. She was all of those things. She was also sixteen.
She sat on a chair at the other end of the room, dressed in a silvery corset and a sheer skirt that cascaded down from her waist and pooled around her feet on the dark red carpet. She was skinny with curtains of straight black hair parted at the center and spilling over her shoulders. Her skin was so pale it appeared luminescent in the dim lighting of the room. Maybe that was all planned to give that sort of ambience. It worked. She looked haunting, otherworldly. She looked like a miserable ghost and Carlos could hardly look away.
After a dazed second, Carlos turned his gaze around the room. The plan was simple and they wanted to be in and out of here as quickly as possible. There was some device within the area of this room that Carlos had specifically ordered.
