Chapter 221. Missing and Suspected Dead

Some miles away, Petra’s house was being raided. She had almost been killed and it wouldn’t have been too hard to take her out since she had a sick person in her home. She’d have had to take care of herself and protect a sick Lo but luckily the girl had woken up like a phoenix from its ashes and had even come to her rescue. Petra had given Lo a gun for safety and had been positively surprised that at how good she was. They killed two of the invaders and were able to catch one alive.

They stayed vigilant until morning when they could address the issue. As the sun rose slowly from the horizon, staining the sky outside their window with color, Lo looked up at Petra from where she was sat at on the floor a few feet from the invader that they had knocked out to keep at low risk.
