May ran home as fast as ever. She had to do it. How so? Alistair seemed sweet and wonderful. And he turned out to be a monster. Thoughts swirled in her head rapidly, she thought of various options for future developments. Engrossed in her thoughts, she barely realized she was almost at home. Panting, she ran inside.
