Chapter 26

Pandora's POV

Derrick has been showing up in my dreams and pleading for forgiveness lately. I also have not spoken to Rolan in three days.  

He has been trying to apologize, but I didn't know why I was holding back from telling him that I forgive him even though he didn't do anything to offend me. 

I knew that he had sent flowers through some of the servants that I am close to in the palace to give to me. I also made sure he didn't sleep in the same room with me and while I was enjoying all of this drama, I realized that I was beginning to miss him. We never even really got a chance to celebrate the pregnancy. 

I made up my mind to bury the hatchet tonight when he got back to the house. I called the butler upstairs to give him details for dinner. 

“Good afternoon my Queen” the butler greeted me and bowed, as was the custom here. 

“Hello, butler. I'll be needing you to make the king's favorite for dinn
