Hermione's POV

It has been one month since Derrick and I officially got married, and it has been hell ever since. Derrick rebelled in every way, it was almost like he wasn't even charmed by me. 

“Hello Derrick” I greeted him coldly as we had not been speaking for about four days now. 

He looked at me and nodded gently. 

“May I sit with you?” I asked, trying not to offend him. 

He didn't say anything again, just motioned for me to sit down without even looking up at me. 

I coughed gently to get his attention. He looked at me and scanned my face like there was something on it. 

“What do you want, Hermione?” He asked me, his voice filled with repressed anger. 

“I would like to visit my parents.” I choked out, his countenance scaring whatever words I wanted to say back into my mouth.
