Eric's POV

I was devastated when I went to Kiara's house this morning, and I was told that she had left. She had called off the wedding and strictly warned that I should never reach out to her again. 

Even though this was what I wanted to achieve, I know I overdid it, and she deserves to know the truth. The desperation to see her was killing me and I realized that I was a fool for ever letting her go.

“I do not want to see you here again. Do you understand me, Eric?” Her father threatened. I knew he had a right and every reason to. 

“Have you not disgraced our daughter enough? Now you come here with your crocodile tears to say that you are sorry, and you want Kiara back. You must be a joker" her mother fired hotly at me, I could feel the pain of the hurt I had caused them. I didn't know what to say at that point that would make everything better.
