Kiara's POV

I have been here for about two weeks now, and I have never been happier. Pandora and Rolan have been the best hosts. 

Being here to expect the baby with them has healed my shattered heart faster than I thought it should have taken. I was already planning to get my apartment and had even made a down payment for a car.

Rolan helped me to get a job with the newspaper company of the pack, and I was expected to resume in two weeks. My life was beginning to take form and make some sense to me. 

I spoke to my father last week, and he mentioned that Eric came around the house with his father and that they had blamed all of Eric's ills on youthful exuberance. 

They laughed at that part of the conversation. My father had then spoken to Rolan and Pandora as my mom was busy in the kitchen making dinner.
