Chapter 45

Pandora's POV

I was still feeling in confusion and my thoughts were running wild when she spoke again, bringing me out of my head. 

“Yes, I know. They are fantastic people, but I do not want you to be hurt because I hid this from you. I want to arrange an apartment for you, so you stay there. You can also work with me at the hospital, so I can monitor you. Wilson and Ashley are very obsessive and very violent.” She said, and I saw the pain behind her words.

Her eyes carried all the emotions of a mother who was really scared for her children even though she cared so much about them. She moved her black long hair from her back and lifted it slightly so I could see a scar on her neck. 

“What happened?” I asked, genuinely concerned because the scar looked like it was a very deep and long gash on the back of her neck. 

"Wilson. I refused to let him do something that his second self craved, and he tried to kill me. I barely esc
