Mrs. Edna's POV

I was still at the buzz of work when Ashley came to inform me that Wilson had gone home as he was having a crisis, after taking his injection. I was not convinced that he was fine as I knew the level of monitoring that I needed to do most of the time before I was convinced that he was fine.

“I don't know Mom, he looked fine so I let him drive home as that was the safest thing I could think of,” Ashley explained, but her words did nothing to calm the overwhelming dread that was beginning to wash over me. 

“When you left him, did he look like he would be able to handle himself?” I asked, wanting to convince myself that my son was fine and probably not in some ditch somewhere.

“I am sure he was fine Mom. You do not have to worry your head about it!” She assured me and left the room, informing me that she was going to Preggo's room to talk to her about a man that she had been crushing on.
