Chapter 53

Mrs. Edna's POV

I stormed off to my room and slammed the door loudly. 

“Ungrateful!” I screamed and threw away everything on my bedside table. Putting my hands on my hair, I let out another screech. 

I was so upset and I realized why. I had taken my medications to the hospital and left them there when I was rushing back home to meet Wilson. 

I stomped off to my bathroom and went to my medic box. I brought out my medications and swallowed my dosage for the day. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. I heard a knock on my door and Wilson came inside.

“What do you want?” I snapped at him immediately after I came out of my bathroom.

“Mom, please. I just want to talk to you. I am not here to argue or fight.” Wilson said to me. 

“What do you want, Wilson? I do not have all day. I have an ungrateful family to take care of.” I said and scoffed. His presence was bringing me nothing but irritation and I wanted him
