Chapter 54

Ashley's POV

I was quite shocked that my mom was really going to kill the old woman. Wilson and I were still trying to map out a way to save Kirsten's grandmother.

“What do we do about Kirsten's body?” Wilson asked, his forehead had beads of sweat on it.

“We can burn her body. If there is nobody, no one can find anything.” I proposed, waiting for Wilson to make the final decision since he was the one who killed her.

“Do you think something is wrong with mom?” Wilson asked and I looked at him in surprise.

“Is it because of her insisting on killing the old woman that you have asked such a question?” I asked him and looked at him intently, praying that he was not suspecting the same thing I was.

“Not just this incident, remember when she cut her neck herself and will not stop saying we did it?” Wilson asked me and I struggled to shut down the memory of my mom rushing out of the room with blood running down her neck
