Chapter 116. Picture Perfect

Savannah’s POV

One Week Later

I wake up to the warm sunlight streaming through the cracks of the window. As I open my eyes, it takes me a moment to realize that I’m not in my own bed. It’s quite a jarring feeling. I’m in a big, marvelous-looking room, and though it’s a beautiful place, it doesn’t feel quite like home.

Stepping off the bed, I walk to the en-suite bathroom, getting myself ready to start another day. Today is a Saturday and Carter has invited me, Juju, and Lexy to watch an equestrian horse show. Horses are kind of like the British version for a ball game, Juju says.

So it’s been a week since we’ve arrived here and Carter and his family have been very welcoming. At dinner on the first day, I was introduced to his dad, mom, and brothers. His dad is Alpha Mychael Hanson and his mom is Luna Elizabeth Hanson. His two older brothers are Aidan and Brett. Both of them are a little bit older than Carter and they’re both married with kids.
