Chapter 117. Self-Sabotage

“Things are going great with Carter and you start second guessing yourself.”

“So, you start making things up because you’re scared of how good things are here.”

“But hey, you deserve to be happy, alright? So stop trying to sabotage yourself!”

For some reason, Juju and Lexy’s words stay with me for the rest of the day. As I’m sitting there watching the horse show and my friends are screaming at the top of their lungs wanting their horses to win, I can’t really focus on the race and my mind keeps traveling.

Juju, Lexy, and I talked extensively about my love life. The night that we got here, we stayed up in my room, talking about Logan and Harlan. We came to the conclusion that it’s not possible for the three of us to get what we want. Harlan won’t go through with the plan unless he gets to marry me. Logan won’t definitely accept that, not after everything we’ve been through. And I can’t have them both because my dad will not allow it
