Chapter 143. Truth Speaks

Savannah’s POV

Have I told you how scary Logan and Harlan can be when they want to be? They always think of everything three steps ahead. Like today, it’s the D-day. Ryan’s going to deliver my package to my dad. But not just that, Logan and Harlan have sneakily put a camera inside the package, so we’ll be able to monitor everything that’s happening.

“I think he’s there,” Harlan says as we all crowd around the living room, watching the live footage.

On the TV screen, I see a familiar door. It’s the door to my house, and oh, how I missed it so much! I almost feel like crying looking at that door. I haven’t been home in a while and I wish I was really there.
