Harlan’s POV

“Wait a minute, where’d you get that?!” I say as I get up quickly, walking over to Logan to see the ring.

It is a gorgeous ring, I must admit. Its stone is ruby red and it shines brightly, emanating power and the color of our pack.

“I got it made a while back, but it just got delivered a few days ago,” Logan shrugs nonchalantly. But damn, he must’ve spent a small fortune on this too.

“Why’d you need a ring for? Didn’t you already propose?” I question.

“Yeah, but that was before and this is now. The new us,” Logan winks.

“Why’d you pick red?”

“It’s the color of our pack, duh.”

“I know it is, but Savannah’s not coming into our pack. We’re going to hers,” I say, and I find myself questioning my own words. “Aren’t we?”
