Chapter 55. Real Meaning
Savannah’s POV
“What took you guys so long?” Logan narrows his eyes suspiciously as soon as Harlan and I get into the car.
“Nothing, just had some business to take care of,” Harlan replies.
He gets into the passenger seat while I opt for the backseat and Logan is in the driver seat. Logan eyes me through the rearview mirror and I look away, purposefully avoiding eye contact.
“Right,” he mutters, rolling his eyes as he puts the car in gear.
Well, okay, Harlan and I ended up doing a little more than just showering. But I’m still a lady, okay? I’m not the type to kiss and tell. Or in this case, fuck and tell. Wink, wink.
And so, as Logan is driving the car at full speed, the three of us are just sitting there in complete silence. To say that it is awkward being in that car is the understatement of the century. Everyone’s minds are probably racing, still stuck on what happened last night, but no one’s willing to talk about it.
