Chapter 59. Secret Keeper

Savannah’s POV

“There she is!” Lexy jumps from the bed as soon as I open the bedroom door.

“Holy shit, woman, where on earth have you been!?” Juju follows quickly after. Both of them are racing over to me at full speed.

Quickly, I close the door shut behind me and put my hands up in an act of surrender.

“Guys, chill,” I say. “I’ve just been out running around errands… you know, college stuff…”

“College stuff,” Juju rolls his eyes dramatically. “Yeah, right.”

“Sav, come on, we all know there’s no such thing,” Lexy sighs with her hands perched on her hips.

“In case you forget, we are all going to the same school,” Juju reminds me.

“Yeah,” Lexy agrees. “Our parents started asking us questions, you know? They were wondering why you had errands to run while we don’t. So we ended up spending our weekend sitting around the campus of University of Vermont, eating chick-fil-a from the parking lot!”

“You guys did what?” I gape.
