Chapter 74. Reality Bites

Savannah’s POV

RING! RING! RING!

The ringing sound coming from my phone pierce the air and I jump with a jolt.

“Oh, shoot!” I mumble as I grab the phone and haphazardly get up from the bed. It’s not an easy feat. Mind you, I was tangled around Harlan and Logan’s bodies.

“What’s wrong?” Harlan asks.

“It’s 9 AM! I have to get ready, I have a flight to catch!” I say as I scramble to fish my underwear out of the pile of clothes near the bed.

“Where are you going?” Logan chimes.

“Home, duh!” I finally see my clothes and I pull them up in a pile around my hands.

“Can’t you stay another day?” he continues, getting up from the bed.

“No, I can’t,” I shake my head. “My dad’s expecting me and I have to go to campus tonight, it’s freshman welcome week.”
