Chapter 73. Lucid Dreaming

Savannah’s POV

I fall into a deep sleep right away.

For a while, I just feel like I’m floating. Somewhere on the clouds maybe. Or somewhere in the ocean.

Until finally, I feel my back hitting something concrete. I try to feel around me, and I start to feel the grass under my skin. I look around and all I see are these rolling hills of green grass. I’m not sure where I’m at, but it’s quiet and peaceful here. I can feel the warm breeze coming through and the friendly sunlight up above.

But suddenly, the clouds above begin to gather. The sky is turning dark. The wind starts to blow harder. And then I hear the howling of wolves. These howls aren’t friendly howls. It’s like a warning. Or a call for war.

I turn around to the direction of the sound. And from the tall trees, there emerges a wolf. It’s a big wolf with gray fur. I’ve never seen this wolf before, and I don’t know if it’s a friend or a foe.

“W-who are you?” I stammer as I step back.
