Chapter 15. Can’t Do That Anymore
“Have you ever been honest with me?” he asked after Madam Cross left them.
“Do I owe you any sort of honesty?” Anita replied to him.
“Are you playing the industry’s dirty game?” he asked again, this time, infuriating Anita.
“I want you out of my office. Right now!” she said in the form of an order.
“Is that a request or an order?” he asked her as he frowned his eyebrows.
Pointing her left hand towards her door, “It’s an order. Get out!”
Pissed, he rushed to her and grabbed her by the arm as he put down her arm and had her sit on the chair close by.
“I am not your personal assistant. Let this be the last time you walk me out in that manner,” he spat word for word and walked out of the office, slamming the door real hard.
Anita went quiet for minutes as she recalled his angry expression over and over again.
