Miller’s POV

  How could she accept him as her mate and her stupid damn brother has now stolen my chosen mate and

  my child as his own.

  The sheer audacity!

  She can have that stupid loser, but my child is returning to Pembroke with me.

  I will die fighting for my child.

  Daniel has the same idea; he truly wants to fight me for everything that is mine.

  I will go for it.

  He will not beat me, not now.

  Not ever.

  Stupid idiots!

  By the time I shifted into my wolf form, I could already feel the anger come out of me.

  I was not expecting Isla to jump at me, sinking her teeth so far into me that I shoved her off and caused her

  to land face-first onto the tree.

  She was not moving, but I could not do anything since Daniel was now on top of me, trying to rip shreds out

  of me.
