Chapter 24

  Later that day…

  I adjusted the straps of my dress as I stood in front of the mirror, nerves running rampant through my system. Tonight was a special occasion because Aaron and I would have dinner in the pack dining hall with his father, Alpha Leon, and my mother, Esmeralda.

  Taking a deep breath, I walked out of my room and met Aaron in the hallway. His emerald green eyes were adored as he took in my appearance. "You look stunning, Isla," he murmured, taking my hand. "They will love you."

  I smiled, his words bringing me a sense of comfort and reassurance. Aaron had been my rock throughout this journey, and I was grateful to have him by my side. Together, we walked towards the packed dining hall, the scent of delicious food filling the evening air.

  As we entered the hall, my heart pounded in my chest. The room was crowded with pack members, their conversations mingling with laughter and the clinking of cutlery. Alpha
