Chapter 28

"Are you serious?" Asher's brows furrowed in utter confusion as he locked eyes with Orion. There was a deep questioning look on his face, clearly indicating his disbelief. The words coming out of Orion's mouth seemed completely nonsensical to Asher, given Orion's past track record.

"Yes, I am sure. I want to work at the company and learn before I make a choice about my future," Orion stated firmly, determined to make his point.

"Very well then. If that's what you want, I will ask the director to create a position for you immediately so you can start learning," Asher responded, more than happy to teach his son the ways of the business world. But before he could say anything further, Orion cut him off abruptly.

"No! I don't want to work here at this company," Orion's tone was stiff, leaving Asher tilting his head in confusion.

"What do you mean? If you don't want to work here, then where do you want to work?" Asher inquired, his curiosity piqued.

"At the Grandur
