"Are you sure you want to go back to the office? I can handle things there. You should rest another day," Ray urged, concern evident in his voice as he watched Azalea preparing for work instead of heeding the doctor’s advice to rest.
"Rest? I only have a minor burn. It's not a big deal," Azalea said dismissively, waving her bandaged hand at Ray. His fingers twisted anxiously as he looked at her, unable to hide his worry.
Azalea couldn't help but smile at his concern. She approached him, handed him her bag to hold, and gently patted his shoulder. Taking a deep breath, as if encouraging him to do the same, she said, "Yeah! Just like that. Learn to breathe once in a while. And stop frowning." Azalea pressed her bandaged thumb against the creased lines on his forehead, easing the tension from his face and making him appear a bit less stressed.
