“I SAW it in my own eyes that Miss Ripley was sent to the hospital in an ambulance but when I got there to investigate there’s no record that she was ever admitted.” Ricky discreetly explained to Lucian while they were sitting on the park bench.

Lucian narrowed his gaze in mystery, “Anything else?” he asked.

Ricky shook his head, and with that their meeting ended and Ricky left as discreetly as he arrived.

"Latton, what are you hiding?" Lucian asked himself. "Is it possible that the child inside her is older than she's claiming it to be? If that's the case, I may be the father and if my suspicion is correct, then that’s a big reason not to let her go.”
