Jo sat formally on one side of a low table in a tailored suit. Across from him, his father, a distinguished older man with a demeanor that commands respect, takes a sip of green tea,
“Son, I see you are doing well. What is this new shine I see on you?” his father asked, taking a sip of his green tea. This green tea is quite exquisite. The flavors are a welcome change from our usual fare. What do you think?”
“Yes, Father. The maid has a talent for selecting the finest blends,” Jo nodded in agreement, taking a sip of his own tea and giving a dumbfounded look to his father, who seemed to be savoring this moment.
“It’s been a while since we’ve had a chance to enjoy a meal together like this, Jo, one where we can actually enjoy each other’s company before we have to argue about something.” His father lowered his gaze, stirring his tea.
