Chapter 20. Rush to the Hospital
"Auntie, why don't you go to the hospital? Your face is colorless."
"Shut up!" Barbara shouted accompanied by a groan. Before she had time to lie down, her stomach was churning again.
"Mom, I really can't stand it. How long will this pain go away?"
While trying to stay calm, Melanie wiped the sweat from Barbara's forehead. "Be patient, Darling. It won't take long. The side effects are only temporary."
"Don't take risks, Grandma. Diarrhea should not be underestimated. If it gets worse, blood could come out," Louis whispered in a tone of horror.
Barbara's face became increasingly creased. "Don't talk carelessly!"
"Louis wasn't lying. I read about it in the newspaper. Someone died of severe diarrhea. It was terrible."
