Chapter 36

Kean felt jealous as he saw his father hugging Zayden. As far as he could remember correctly, the last time his father hugged him was when he was still a child, and after that, he couldn’t remember a time anymore when his father had hugged him. So, seeing Zayden and Kaillen hug broke his heart. It was as if his heart was glass, and the moment he saw them hugging, it fell and broke into a thousand pieces. He immediately turned his back and walked away, and Ashley followed him.

“Babe, where are you going?” Ashley asked Kean as she followed him walk away. “Babe, I thought you were going to visit your father...”

“I don’t want to anymore...” Kean replied, emotionless. He just kept on walking until they reached the spot in the parking lot where he parked his car.

“Are... are you being like this because of what you saw?” Ashley asked as she sat in the shotgun seat. Kean had already started the car, and he was ready to drive away. “Is this because of their hug?”
