And they really did hunt me. Those monsters, as if already signed on an agreement to collectively make me feel miserable. They were all around, everywhere and in all forms.
I had taken a wild, long stroll with Logan and Benita immediately we got to the pack house. Sara had opted to stay at the house we were given to pay homages to those elders of the pack while we walked all around.
I relived every moment as I got to every part of the place, meeting one or more landmark that I had left years back.
At the stream where I fetch water in pails for my cousins and wash their garments, the monsters appeared as the little unsettling tides of the stream, rising webbed up thoughts in my mind and making me unsettled.
At the path to the market where I would walk to occasionally to get ingredients to cook the meal that my relatives would eat, the monsters took on the form of a presence and they were so strong that I could almost feel them walking
