Gideon stared at the monster in front of them with red face and black eyes. He gulped, not really understanding what was happening. How could the alpha king take a demon form? It sounded strange to him but Asher didn’t give him time to understand and started attacking. The warriors tried to restrain him, hoping that the wolfsbane dust would weaken him but they were in for a shock.

Asher snarled and his claws impaled a warrior before throwing him away and he grabbed another one, biting the head off instantly. Gideon stared in shock, and he didn’t need to be told that whatever mercy Asher may have been having for them was all gone as he was killing now instead of wounding. He couldn’t help but blame himself for enraging him. If he hadn’t thrown the wolfsbane in the air, perhaps Asher wouldn’t have become the monster he was now.
