Asher smiled at the girl lying on the beautiful flowers in the meadow. He walked up to her and sat beside her, casting his shoulder on her and making her open her eyes. Her hazel eyes caused something to stir inside him and he leaned over and kissed her eyelids. He closed his eyes, breathing in her scent as his lips remained on her.

“Stay with me,” he breathed, “stay with me forever. I don’t ever want to lose you again.”

Naomi exhaled and hugged his waist. “I don’t want to leave too but what about them?”

“I will handle them. But stay with me, please.”
