“Still in her room?” Monica asked Micah as he joined the dining table for breakfast.

Micah exhaled and nodded. “She wouldn’t let anyone in, not even dad.”

“I heard Asher was released three days ago.”

“Yes. Yet I can’t understand why he hasn’t come to see her. He hurt her, and yet he is acting like he doesn’t care.”

“Cut him some slack,” Monica smiled softly, “he has loved Anita long before you were born. Your father told me he has not woken up for three days.”

“He was that wounded?” Micah raised an eyebrow.

Monica exhaled. “I don’t know but according to your father who had been able to see him, there was no scare on him. Not even a bruise.”

“Wow, then why is he in a coma?”

Monica shrugged before scooping rice into her plate. “Asher was mostly in a coma from young. So these days, I’m not surprised anymore. All I know is that he would be fine. He just needs time.”
