Rhea stood frozen beneath the strip of moonlight, staring across the room.

The Rogue King had stopped near the doorway. He wasn’t looking at us the way he had before. The boredom was gone. So was the indifference.

For several seconds, no one moved. Then Rhea took one step toward him.
