Leah’s POV

My body was shaking after I found out what Alpha Brandon did for me, for Amoux. I was staring at Amoux who was half awake. I tried to be happy that he was with me but I don’t know why I can’t. My wolf was grieving that Alpha Brandon wasn’t with us, and that confused me.

She keeps howling like she lost her mate, even though our mate was here in front of us. I bit my lip to prevent myself from crying.
