“Samantha,” She was about to turn her back on me but she stopped when she heard me shouting her name.

“Why are you doing this?” I asked, which surprised her. I still believe what Leah told me, she didn’t want Samantha to get killed by someone.

“Alpha Brandon, do I need to have a reason if I want to do this? I don’t think so. Because it’s part of the rules, I need to be alive to find him, so I need a man to stay here inside of this mansion.”

“Who’s the man that you’re talking about? Do you have a lover outside of this mansion?”

“I had but he didn’t remember me. Let me tell you this, there’s a lot of gossip that I was kidnapping a man to help me conceive a child but it’s all a lie. Are you aware of the illusion? This mansion has a lot of illusion, this was my master’s doing.”
