“Alpha Leah, are you alright? You keep sighing repeatedly.” I glared at Almera when she asked me so many times. I groaned in frustration when I saw her smirking at me. It looks like she was teasing me that I was problematic today.

And I think I don’t even need to tell her the actual reason. It’s been a week since Alpha Brandon didn’t even make me see himself. And it’s been a week since Almera bullied me because of him.

I thought that I would be happy that I didn’t even see Alpha Brandon. I wished that he was busy managing his pack. I never thought that I would be an overthinker because of him.

“Almera, why are you still here in my office? I observed that you liked to go with me always. I don’t want Kairo to be jealous because of me, huh.” I rolled my eyes at her, and I focused my eyes on the paper that I was reading.

“I don’t understand myself. How you looked amusing when you’re problematic about your fuck buddy.” Almera sarcastically said. S
